My journey with meditation began in December 2019 after watching a YouTube video about the healing benefits of Meditation. At that stage I was suspicious of having an autoimmune disease yet to be diagnosed formally, however I knew I wasn't the best version of myself. I would get tired easily, found it hard to stay in shape and had ongoing gut and immune disorders. A few months later I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. An autoimmune disorder affecting the thyroid gland. My immune system was attacking my thyroid gland. I was in a constant state of stress.
I began daily meditations. At first I only lasted 7 minutes thinking I am no good at this. Yet I persisted. 7 weeks later of daily meditations, often twice daily, I remember finally feeling my brain relax. It was something I will never forget. I was then addicted. How can I feel this way again? My love affair began.
I have healed my Hashimoto's disease (blood work confirms this), I have a love of life that is reminiscent of when I was that joyful child in awe with life, and I have a sense of divine love for self and all around me.
Meditation has truly transformed how I see myself, the people and world around me. I can be calm within the storm... most of the time.
My interest in DNA testing came from a place of ill health. How come I keep getting sick? How is it that others can drink and smoke, have late nights and I just cannot? Perhaps it is in the genes?
DNA profiling has given me insight to how my unique blueprint affects my health and wellbeing. It showed me how to make choices that will support my unique profile and more importantly empowered me to make choices related to diet, exercise, supplements, lifestyle and even mindset to support me. You cannot change your DNA but you can change how those genes affect you in your life. Would you like to understand how YOUR unique blueprint can work for you as opposed against you?
